Scotiabank Fundraiser a Success
The Rural Community of Upper Miramichi would like to thank the staff of Doaktown Scotiabank on a well-planned fundraising dinner for the soon to open Central NB Academy.
A total of $8012.68 was made at a fundraiser at the Central NB Woodmen's Museum on April 24, 2010. A delicious salmon and fiddlehead dinner and local entertainment was enjoyed by all attendees. Thank you as well to all the Museum staff and volunteers for a wonderful meal.
The money will be used to purchase new black and silver graduation gowns for the Central NB Academy students.
